Kids and cell/mobile phones

It seems that everyone has them now and with teens they are a must have accessory and a newly released report here in the UK seems to back that up.

The report commissioned by The Carphone Warehouse {big retailer of mobile phones similar to Cingular} and advised by the London School of Economics, discovered that 51 percent of all 10-year-olds in Britain own a mobile phone, but that figure rises to 91 percent by the time children hit the age of 12, according to the survey. It further found that most children used their phones to text rather than talk.

I will admit our family falls into this category as the boys have cell phones themselves BUT they never use them. They take them when they go to away sporting events but other than that they sit on the counter. You all know how much the boys like to use the phone so it should not be a surprise their lack of use :-)
